Green Street Studios and JAMpress management join forces to launch new dance networking initiative: Tracks // where will dance take you?

Tracks // where will dance take you? Is a sister city collaboration between Green Street Studios of Cambridge, MA and artist manager Jessica Marino (JAMpress management) of Pittsburgh, PA. Tracks provides select artists a platform and path for growth outside of home cities. The initiative debuted during the Association of Performing Arts Presenters conference in New York City and now tours to Pittsburgh, Boston, and Lehigh Valley in 2017.

Tracks // Pittsburgh 2017 dance showcases and activities will be June 7-9, 2017 - aligning with the 3Rivers Arts Festival and PA Presenters Conference. Details will be released mid March. Contact, for more information.

Tracks // Lehigh Valley 2017 dance showcases and activities will be Fall 2017 – hosted by Lehigh Valley Dance Exchange. Details will be released mid April. Contact, for more information.

Tracks provides a platform for a thoughtfully curated roster of esteemed artists sharing a mosaic of dance styles including; modern, contemporary, street, ballet, and dance theater. Tracks is designed to support dance makers and presenters in various stages of career development – in turn celebrating some of the industries freshest works and stakeholders.  Tracks collaborates with local organizations in host cities to bring visibility to the strengths and address the weaknesses in each local dance landscape. Through multiple showcase opportunities, it is priority for this initiative to foster a creative environment where artists and presenters can meet, network, and build meaningful relationships, with the focus of booking engagements (performances, residencies, masterclasses, collaborations). 2017 Host city collaborators include, PearlArts Studios, Green Street Studios, and Lehigh Valley Dance Exchange. 

Kathleen Nasti and Jessica Marino celebrate a decade of collaborative work in professional and community-based programs. Shared resources and a collective effort have proven to support a more impactful growth and artistic trajectory that services and invigorates contemporary dance in smaller metro areas. Nasti and Marino combine networks and create synergies to fuel compelling, complete, and provocative dance art. By joining and focusing all practical and artistic resources, they support one another’s professional and artistic trajectory. Related programs include: 
Lehigh Valley Dance Exchange, River City Artists Management, GSS Dance Management Fellowship, and The Dance Entrepreneur’s Funding Think Tank.

Green Street Studios (GSS) is a dance and performance space located in Cambridge, MA.  GSS boasts a 25-year legacy of supporting a breadth of dance genres, educating and supporting process for over 500 students annually, and hosting over 2,000 performances during its duration. GSS’ programs facilitate the artistic journey from training to production, and engage audiences by providing access to dance forms extending from traditional/classical disciplines to innovative work in experimental and multi-media forms.

Jessica Marino, is a performing arts manager, educator, and dance artist. Jessica joined Linda Reznik and River City Artists Management in 2011, representing a roster of renowned dance companies and facilitating booking engagements throughout the United States. Marino is now launching JAMpress management – bringing ideas to the spotlight. JAMpress management offers support services for the performing arts industry with a focus on dance. Services include; event producing, promotion and marketing, project management, booking, tour management, and consultation.
